This week, my top five is TV shows that people seem to love, and I just never could get into.
1. The Office. I have no idea why people watch this show. It's so not for me. I think it's the faux-reality/mockumentary look it has and Steve Carrell annoys the crap out of me. I'd rather pet porcupines than listen to his voice.
2. Scrubs: Can't stand it. Drives me crazy. If I ever was at a hospital with a weird voiceover and annoyingly chipper blond doctor with another doctor that doesn't look like he can get out of bed without hitting his head a million times and always looks like he's been shocked with a stun gun or 50...I would rather let Sami perform any sort of operation on me that I need.
3. American Idol/Dancing With The Stars: Again, not a fan. I just couldn't get into it.
4. Criminal Minds: I have no idea why I don't like this show. I am usually all over these types of shows. But this one...meh. I think its the Dharma and Greg dude, he makes me want to bash that weird scrunched eye furled brow head against a brick wall and tell him to get a hair cut so he doesn't look like Phineas from Phineas and Ferb.
5. Survivor: Lets just leave them all on the freakin' island. WTH is up with this "alliance" crap. Seriously?
So I'm not a huge TV watcher as it is. I should watch better shows but between work, Sami and the dog I have a short attention span
So what shows do you suggest??
My brother just got me addicted to True Blood. Oh, and Eureka!
ReplyDeleteI used to hate The Office but now I love it. (Not that I ever watch it or anything...) Somehow the constant awkwardness evolved into hilarity. Plus, James Spader is going to be in the next season! Again, not like I ever catch it the first time around. And I have to say I totally disagree about Scrubs. I would actually love to be in a hospital with those guys as my doctors - hospitals would be a much happier place. I agree with the other 3 shows, mostly because I've never watched them.
